ctw bolt release

i was wondering if my gun is supposed to be shooting with out a magazine in it. i just ordered a new bolt release and the gun still shoots on semi and full auto without the mag in it. with an empty mag is in the magwell it does not shoot which is supposed to happen.

I have found that the bolt release is only operational with a magazine fitted - i.e. if an ampty magazine is in the weapon it will not fire, but put in a loaded mag and 'rock and roll'!!!.

Without a magazine fitted, the bolt release mechanism is not being pushed up and so will fire - its not a fault its just how they make them.
