Barrel nut for Noveske ris for ctw/ptw

I've been offered a 12in Noveske ris off a friends aeg.

Do I need a specific barrel nut for the ctw or would the standard one work?

Wouldn't know for certain BUT the CTW thread is the same as a gen M4 - if its an airsoft specific RIS then chances are you'll need an adapter.

Its an import from Europe of the US if it is.

It should work most madbull RIS units will work, i have tried the TROY TRX, DD MK18 RIS, and a noveske ris and they all fit perfectly. Just make sure its not a clone Noveske RIS because those are available and they will not fit.

yes you need to buy a proprietary barrel nut for ctw/ptw. i had to buy one. you can get one at ptw-airsoft
