Madbull RIS/RAS

Hi, will the Madbull Daniel Defense Mk18 9.5 inch rail system fit on a CTW without mods?
I've seen some conflicting info online, some saying it will fit straight on with no mods & some saying it doesn't??
Help please

Sorry, not sure - if you have to replace the barrel nut with a new one and the RIS is an airsoft one its almost a dead cert that it wont as airsoft threads and dimensions are a little different.

Well, Redwolf say it fits the PTW & is real steel dimensions, so i thought it would be ok & looking through on here someone has one on a CQB CTW & says it needs no mods but i've heard people say you need to re-thread the receiver but not sure if that applies to other types of RIS/RAS or AEG? G&P is a make I've heard mentioned?

My research into this revealed the upper would need to be rethreaded to work as standard with the Madbull Mk18.

An alternative option is to get a different PTW-esq barrel nut, where you'd get one though is a completely different question

i have a madbull dd mk18 9.5" on my cqbr and the only mod i did was to drill a hole for the gas tube.

Madbull make a re threading tool so i believe they do need modding, maybe cdr's one is real steel?

The info I've read seems to point to only some "AEG's" that need to be re-threaded. PTW's/CTW's don't & users on here that have fitted them say that as well

I've got the Madbull Mk18 DD RIS/RAS 9.5 inch & the info on Redwolf says they fit straight on & 2 users on here say they fit without mods.
I've not actually fitted mine yet as both my CTW's are @ BadgerTac having the new gears fitted
