My CTW Project

Ok, so mine is the top one, and its gonna be L119a1-afied and then rattle canned.

Well, this project almost got cancelled, but its back on, with some etiny parts gonna be fitted as well.

good to hear it mate. Ill be upgrading to etiny parts when possible too. Oh btw let me know if you got and buis for sale mate im looking for a set. ta

Ordered a thread die today, so I should be able to reduce the barrel to 10" from 10.5", hopefully

Also ordered: Magpul CTR stock, Storm grip, PEQ box.

I also cut the bayonet lug off the front irons, as per diemaco

Will post up pics when I have more done, but here is one of the modified iron sight.

This is the look i'm going for:



A modern L119a1, got a storm grip on the way and a CTR stock.

Also i'm going to shorten the outer barrel by .5"

At the moment I have a V1 Perr Mike SF556 Suppressor on there, which is being swapped for the V3 Perr Mike SF556 Supressor. Which is much more accurate.

Internally, its gonna have an etiny mini-fet and ecu. I've also modded the hop unit (standard superglue mod, not the r-hop)

Let me know if you get stuck with the mods on the barrel.

I have a lathe and am just up the road from you in Farnborough. I've already turned some off the back of the barrel to allow fitting of a barrel mounted M203.
