Magpul enhanced CTW

This is my CTW after some mods done to it. A few more details will be done later and I will update as soon as I get it done. Hope you like..

I am looking forward to painting the delta ring and the front sight in the right black color when i look at the pictures. Maybe I will get to it tomorrow if I can find the time. Everything has gone smoother than I first thaught, and all the parts have been shipped to my doorstep really fast this time around! What are the chances right (?) hehe..

LoL.. that`s true! Got my scope today.. gonna try it on tomorrow and my new rail system and grip is here on monday i think. If im lucky and get the lower reciver this week the gun will be ready for paint next weekend.

What are your plans color wise? Stay black?

I wont be painting other parts than what I have already mentioned in my first post. I wish to get hold of a M4A1 body with Colt markings, but still no luck..

Yeah, but those ones are all for M16. Im after the body type with M4A1 Colt markings, hard to find at the moment. The version G&P used to make is awesome!

If I could find the body I am after anywhere I really dont care if its setting me back 180 to 300 bucks + shipping and taxes. But for now the CTW body will have to doo.

Here is a small update after the delta ring, front sight and flash hider was painted..

Did you have to change out the fuse assembly in order to fit the lipo in the buffer tube? How did you do that?

No you don`t have to change out the fuse, just cut the wires shorter. But swiffer is the one who knows for sure though. I just talked with another guy who has done the same stock mod and he only shortened the wires to fit the Lipo in the buffertube. That`s it.

Btw Swiffer, supers look on the sight and flash hider!

I did that mod to Odin`s friends CTW. You have to use a specific type of lipo battery that can fit inside the buffertube, cut the wires shorter and solder a T-type deans connector. This makes for a better fitment and also better connection. But to answer your question, no you can leace the fuse and box as is and still have space for the lipo battery in the buffertube.

I will post some pictures of this up on the forums here some time later when I find the time..

There are companies that offer Duracoat or Waterslide coating for paintball/real steel weapons - you could multicam/a-tacs/digital camo/hello kitty up your gun =D.
