2010 CTW M4-A1 MX-2

I did the same thing too when i first got mine!







I received my new 2010 Celcius CTW MX2 today right when i got home from tech. First results of the box are actually kind poopy. It came in a plain brown box that was taped all over.



But then i actually OPENED the poopy brown box and was like a 3 year old on Christmas morning. It comes in a SEXY sleek looking shiny black bOX that has the logo real big on the front of it "CELCIUS." I had also purchased a UTG 7" rail system(comes with 12 UTG rail covers); tan rail covers; a battery and charger.




Inside the sexy box was a letter saying to read the owners manual before use, my battery, magazine, allen wrench, barrel cleaner, manual (CD), and a speed loader that doesn't work all that easily with the magazines for this gun =( oh well there is an adapter I can get.



The take down pin is popped out on the left side of the receiver so it can be easily pushed out with your finger and have the gun broken in half.



It comes with the same type of Planetary gearbox as a SYSTEMA PTW. Except for you CANNOT DRY-FIRE this weapon when it is broken apart! The gears do not line up in the same position every time. If you do decide to dry-fire it while it is open you have to shoot once on semi then once on full auto then once on semi again to get the gears correctly lined up.



I decided it to get a new rail system and this is what it looks like before the rail system. (MADE IN U.S.A!!)



I had to use an Armorers Delta Ring Tool to get the hand-guards off.



I got the new rails on and bolted down. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WOBBLE AT ALL WITH THIS RAIL SYSTEM!!! For only $55 you cant beat it. 100% satisfaction out of this American Made Product!



The color of the gun is a kind of gray-ish tint. Its not a flat Matte Black like on regular AEG's. I like it a lot, it's kind of unique. All the plastic parts on this gun(are all the same on a real AR-15) are the grip, hand-guards, stock(not buffer tube, that is stainless steel) and butt plate.



The cylinder it comes with is a M110(350 fps) I haven't chronoed it yet, but i will when I get the chance. The cylinder is made of Aircraft Grade Aluminum and is ribbed so it doesn't slide around. It fits inside of the hop-up chamber so there is no lose of air.



This gun stops firing after the last shot is fired. You will know when this gun is ready to be fired because this blue light will appear. If the Blue light is flashing, something is wrong your your battery is dead. If it is not on, your mag is empty your your battery is not plugged in. You can change the brightness of the light to bright your soft depending on your liking.



Overall I am VERY pleased with this gun, but only time can tell. This is the fourth generation of this weapon and hopefully all the bugs are gone, if not, i have a SIX(6) month warranty and can send it in up to Three(3) times and get it fix for free. I got to shoot it a little bit about 160 rounds and WOW!!!!!!!! the trigger response is orgasmic and the ROF is right around 22 bps. It comes with a 120round high-speed mag and a 6.00mm (yes 6.00mm) stainless steel ported inner barrel. I'll also do an accuracy test when I get the chance.

No Rear Sling Mount

That's all i can think of to say about this weapon, I can't wait to field it and I hope this helps some of you out. In the future (Christmas) I'm planning on getting a rear sling mount and by then then my Magpul AFG should be here(I ordered it but they were out of stock at the moment) 8 more mags and a decent charger. I hope this review helps some of you, if not feel free to ask some questions.
