Hi guys,

I buy a plate sling mount to apply in the buffer tube of my CTW, but when I unscrew the main ring in the buffer and take out the local plate I see lots of wires and I'm afraid to touch them.

Can you explain me how to disassemble the buffer in safe conditions???

It were nice if you guys were able to provide me some images(or videos)... Wink

The 4 little wires and the 2 big silver are all connected to the MOSFET board which is inside the buffer tube itself.

The easiest way I have found is simply push on the plug that your battery connects to into the buffer tube and this will push the wires out of the way - unscrew your buffer tube, install sling plate, re-screw on stock tube and gently pull back on battery cable and it will pull all the wires back.

When putting back into place, try and get the 4 little wires under the bug 2 silver wires (these go to your motor), as you dont want them getting caught in any way otherwise your in a world of pain!!! cheers
