I am pissed with celcius/hotspot

Yea I talked to claudio he tracked it and it says inbound into customs. So by this week should be shipped out.

Still no info from hotspot on the gun shipping. So much for another week. Have you heard anything blind?

I'm just waiting to hear from claudio that they've received it after customs. I'm hoping today or tommorow. If its not there by the latest teusday of next week there's an issue than. But I think it will be ok. As soon as I know more I will tenatively post up

Sounds good blind...just getting a bit freaked that we spent this amount of money for the weapon, and it's taking this long to get here.

So your saying the Varanas mags suck ?

Maybe you should read the reviews of them on the forums here before jumping to conclusions like that. I and most everyone else agree that the Vanaras PMAG replicas are the best bang for the buck by far.

Yeah,but they DO misfeed alot on full auto.. 5 of my 10 Vanaras mags has issues and screws up the performance somehow.. 5 of them works flawless though.But i don`t know for how long.. so i think im gonna go for the Jing Gong or A&K ptw mags instead.

I just put a formal complaint to celcius and hotspot as my gun has been having nothing but issues. I had hop up parts missing, missing motor pins, blowing fuses, and now it lights up but won't turn over. I'm hoping celcius will take care of this issue or I must say they will be getting some words from me and I know a lot of people that are friends of mine in the market for a ctw or ptw and will most likely go ptw after this rediculous stuff. Its poor quality control. Let's see what hotspot and celcius do. I know hot spot checks them but must not have checked fps or throughly checked them. They woulkd have seen a huge fps drop and if shot a few mags threw it would have had these issues before I got it. Just thought I'd share.

Great. I sent HSA my hopup 2 weeks ago hoping they could fix it. This does not make me feel so good.

I just redid my hop up yesterday cause they didn't send the gun with hop up packing that worked fine when the gun was working. The whole situation with my gun is mad wierd. I know how to work on ptw ctw and even I'm like huh when it comes to this. Its mad wierd. Usually with what happened when mine went down today its a gear or a ecu or a motor and ecu lights up gears are fine no wear on them and the motor would turn time to time. This is actually baffling me. Celcius just needs to make a good on this and send a new whole completed upper after all the stuff they messed up on this gun. I sent them an email telling them a few days ago if they don't make good ill change to ptw just to not deal with as much of a head ache.

Got CTW MX2 a week ago...

1st 350 Cylinder - Cracked B Nozzle after 1 mag...
2nd 400 Cylinder - Piston or some other internal part broke after 2 mags
I borrowed a friends cylinder - ran 4 more mags through it and the BAM....nothing....wont turn over - no visible issues - blue light is on.


PATHETIC...sending back to Hotshot tomorrow. Already sent the 350 Cylinder in for repair...I am sure it will get sent right back once I get a working gun - if that ever happens..

I can promise you I will file a class action lawsuit if this POS CTW doesnt get fixed and usable. Then I will go get a pTW.

no this has nothing to do with HotSpot....they have been great...its a shame they choose to sell a POS item.

I agree hotspots been great claudio and I talk frequently and he is trying to help. I don't think that celcius is horrible but they need to have better quality control. The ctw is probrably a great weapon when running properly. For the maybe hour it worked it was azamzing.

I agree... for the couple hours it worked to be honest I think it ran better then my teamates PTW's...now if we can just get them to last more then 4 mags!

In all honesty my PTW went down @ the last SOG field OP. Ran my CTW XMax for the VIP Escort game.

This is the 3rd version of the CTW that's been released and Celcius still hasn't had enough beta-testing (from buyers like us) to iron things out yet ? Some Chinese businessman is getting rich and laughing at all of us.

Good part is that we can use systema parts that are crap cecius parts. Which if celcius doesn't fix I will do

I have the newest MX2...and Ollie runs now 6 different PTW's (All Tackleberried)...I personally liked my MX2, when working, better then any of his PTW's.

Unfortunately the PTW cylinders dont form a tight enough seal in the newest MX2 hopup unit to give you the proper FPS. SO unless HotShot can fix the Cylinders from breaking after 4 mags then the gun is useless.

All of these problems all of you are having really has me worried. I have a CTW on preorder through HSA right now, because I thought that Celcius had most of the problems solved on CTWs and because I do not know of anywhere to buy a PTW Max here in the US at a good price. I am hoping that the next shipment coming in is better. Is there anyone that recently bought a MX2 that isn't having problems?

most of us pre-ordered the mx2 because we thought celcius fixed most of the problems
i expect that celcius will support the repairing expenses of the broken ctw's; also I hope the next shipment of ctws will have better testing
and they will do that, because after the latest issues, people wont order the mx2 anymore, at least until they are certain the problems are solved

Ill say this. Even though I am disturbed that I bought this gun and it has been having quite a few isuues and I fix an issue to find another. I look to the brighter side. I can fix it with better parts and make a more solid gun. Think of it like this people you want the lamborgini but can't afford it so you buy a fiero and put a lamborgini body kit on it and now it looks like a lamborgini and yet runs not soo good. But now its cheaper to make it better than if a lamborgini broke and its expesensive to fix etc. So everyone with problems, I feel your pain I'm in the same boat but look up as you can make this gun a lot better not with some parts and tlc and you may be able to make this gun better than any ctw/ptw. A friend of mine did this and his gun is nasty. Basically he has an mx2 1st gen and he placed all systema ptw electronics in it. It so far has run pretty good and its nasty

That doesn't make sense. I wouldn't buy a new car on the pretense that it's not gonna work, EVEN if I was planning to build it up to something that performs better than stock. You'd be better off going to EVIKE and buying a boneyard CTW ... you know that it's messed up and you're just going to use the chassis to build your own hybrid training weapon.

Celcius sells these CTWs to you under the pretense that they are 100% working airsoft guns. Why should you spend $500 (or more) for something you have to pump more money into IT SHOULD WORK OUT OF THE BOX.

By the time you buy Systema electronics for $435 more (EL-01 $195, EL-02 $85, EL-03 $155) to create a "nasty" hybrid you're already in the price range of a Challenge kit or a used PTW Max.

I understand and I totally agree that these should be working 100 percent when we buy them. Just I always feel I can just fix it with better stuff. But yes this is bs and celcius needs to make good.
